Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use a small number of them. Under UK law we can set the essential ones without asking, but we have to ask before setting any that measure usage or advertising — and you can change your mind at any time.

Essential cookies

These keep you signed in, protect the sign-in form, and remember your cookie choice. They are set by Harold and by Supabase, which provides our authentication. The service cannot work without them, so they are always on and don't require consent.

Analytics cookies

Optional. These tell us which pages get used and where people get stuck, so we know what to improve. Off unless you turn them on.

Advertising cookies

Optional. We advertise on Google. If you allow these, Google Ads can tell us that a visitor who clicked one of our ads later created an account. We see totals, not individuals. Off unless you turn them on — while they are off, Google receives no advertising identifier from your visit.

Blocking cookies yourself

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you being able to sign in.
