These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Harold, a service operated under UK law.
Harold is a document processing service that uses artificial intelligence to extract structured data from business documents including invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, receipts, and other documents you provide.
We provide tools to upload documents, extract data, map fields, apply business rules, and export data to accounting systems or other formats.

We offer Core (£29/month) and Pro (£99/month) subscription plans. Prices are in British Pounds Sterling and exclude VAT, which will be added at the prevailing rate for UK customers.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled. We use Stripe for payment processing.
New accounts receive a free trial period. No payment is required during the trial. Your subscription begins when the trial ends, unless cancelled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
You retain all rights to your documents and data. By using Harold, you grant us a licence to process your documents for the purpose of providing our services.
We use AI models to extract data from your documents. While we strive for accuracy, AI extraction may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying extracted data before use.
You are the data controller for any personal data in your documents. You must ensure you have the legal right to process this data and comply with applicable data protection laws.
We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily limit availability. We are not liable for service interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Harold shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold Harold harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your documents, or your violation of these terms.
Harold and all related trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property. The service, including all software, algorithms, and technology, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. Upon termination, your right to use Harold ceases immediately.
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
